Wheelchair Stowage Systems

Wheelchair stowage or rooftop stowage systems offer a method for a disabled driver to be totally independent. They allow the user to transfer into the vehicle and then at the push of a button raise the wheelchair into a secure and water tight stowage unit on the roof of the vehicle.

Wheelchair stowage systems are suitable for most vehicles and can be transferred when the vehicle is changed simply by purchasing roof bars for the new car.

It is advisable to check that the roof weight payload is sufficient to take the weight of a wheelchair stowage unit.
