Person Hoists

The Milford person hoist has been designed to transfer people from their wheelchair into a vehicle and back out again. The hoist is constructed using aluminium which means that the overall weight of the main lifting arm is just 8kg making it easy to lift in and out for storage while travelling.

The Milford person hoist will lift up to 17 stone as standard but can be upgraded to lift 23 stone if required.

Operation: The lifting/lowering action is carried out simply by pushing the up or down button on the handset. To manoeuvre the person into the vehicle the helper will need to make a series of horizontal movements with the lifting arm, this action is made easy by way of three pivot points on the arm.

The Milford person hoist comes complete with a lifting sling which can be ordered in sizes extra small to extra large and also a padded bag for transporting the components in when not in use.
